Care Guide & Cleaning Instructions

Cleaning Code W: Blot spills immediately with a dry cloth. To spot clean, apply water, blot with a clean, light-colored cloth, and let air dry. For lingering stains, use water-based shampoo or foam upholstery cleaner. Do not oversaturate. Clean from the outside of the affected area toward the center to prevent the spot from expanding. Always test a small, discreet area first. For large stains or deep cleaning, contact a professional upholstery cleaner.

Revolution™ Fabrics: To spot clean, reference the Cleaning Code W/S instructions. For tougher stains, use a 1:15 solution of bleach and water.

Sustain™ and InsideOut® Fabrics: Blot spills immediately with a dry cloth. To spot clean, use a soap and water solution (¼ tsp. mild detergent per 1 cup of water), apply the solution using a spray bottle, and lightly scrub with a sponge or soft bristle brush, working from the outside of the affected area toward the center to prevent the spot from expanding. Allow the solution to soak in for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly, blot excess moisture, and let air dry. For tougher stains, use a 1:10 solution of bleach and water. Contact a professional upholstery cleaner for deep cleaning.

Slipcover Care: We recommend having your washable slipcover professionally cleaned, given its large size. We also suggest washing the entire slipcover to ensure the color remains consistent across all pieces.

If you choose to launder at home, wash the slipcover body separate from the cushion covers, so as not to overload your washer. Before washing, close the zippers on pillow and cushion covers. Run a gentle cycle using cold water and a mild detergent. At the end of the cycle, remove the slipcover immediately. Air drying is preferred, although you may also tumble dry on a “no heat” setting until slightly damp. While slightly damp, place the slipcover body on the furniture, then do the same with the cushion covers. You may need to stretch the slipcover slightly in the process. Stand the cushions on their side, rotating every 20 - 30 minutes until dry.

General Care: Vacuum regularly with an upholstery attachment. Fluff and rotate loose cushions as needed to keep cushions looking fresh and encourage even wear.
